The challenge with impulse buys is that getting the right products and routine for your skin and your skin goals requires a slow and deliberate process. If I see a product that sparks my interest on social, I’ll go look up the ingredients, search Reddit for reviews, and search YouTube to see if any of the skinfluencers I trust and whose skin type I know have tried the product. If I still want to buy after that, I figure out exactly how often I would use it, in what step of my routine, and if I need to drop anything if I want to bring this new product into the mix.

Since you are just getting into skincare, I’ll share the lessons I wish I had learned when I was younger - consistency matters more than anything else and go slow and really learn my skin and let that drive what products I use.

Creating a routine is science . We can not follow TikTok and put anything in our skin .
