Slowly pushing into my late 20s and I REALLY wanna take care of my skin the right way, since I don't f with premature aging, and want to do everything in my power to age as gracefully as today's advancements allow for. And I hate admitting it, I'm far from where I pictured myself I'd be in this point in my life, so my budget is still limited.

I also understand that people from every socioeconomic path are on this sub, but - what would you consider an "impulse buy"? i.e. when seeing beauty influencers talk about a product on social media, how much money would a it have to cost for you to not bat an eye when purchasing it?

I get absolutely bombarded with beauty influencers on tiktok promoting (primarily K-beauty) products and this has made me lose any rational way of thinking what an impulse buy with beauty products should cost.

Generally, most of the products promoted online I see are in the $16-35 range, which in my (social-media-brainrot-infected) mind, would be a justifiable impulse buy. i.e. a buy where even if I break out from it I wouldn't be too sad by the product not being for me.

I haven't actually given much thought to skincare until recently, but now that I'm noticing the first signs of aging I really want to take care of it the right way, and I'm well aware that there needs to be a "searching" stage before I find a routine that works for me.

Any help is REALLY appreciated. :)
